no offense dude, but i dont think that makes your car a limited edition 1/17 unless there is a certain option that makes it different from any other 1998 Z34. Sorry.

 

They match RPO codes, and EVERYTHING is an RPO code on these cars. So just the fact that it was built on that date, could mean that it was 1 of 17 built on that day.

I think if you put the 1 of 17 on there, you'd get a mixed reaction. Some people would take it at face value and be impressed. Others would call you out on it, and ask how you know. That's when you could be setting yourself up for embarassment. And now that it's posted on the forum, this thread isn't helping. lol.

 

idk i think it depends on what option on there youre looking at that means something. like mine is 1 of 1650 or something like that out of 8700. color wise. if it was 1 of 17 red or 1 of 17 with a certain motor or not then i would think it means something. at least thats how the fbody guys feel. how many total z34s were made? the ls4 montes i cant think they made anymore than 15000 of them, and out of that total number i would think the black amethyst with a tan interior with no sunroof would be rare. probably only a handful of them. rare one year only color, the tan interior, and with a major option not picked.

 

well compnine said out your car is 1 of 17 have the same options, there are 22 with as many options. Out of 20,000
