Default Logging/Fire Road Fun

Logging/Fire Road Fun..

Yes, I know it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but we were interested in sight seeing!

You need to get a truck for that sort of stuff!!!!!!!!

I've done it before in a truck... next time you crawl under there to change your oil, if you ever have to change a shock or anything... put on safety googles... trust me, easiest thing to do, because you're going to get dirt in your eye no matter how well you think you cleaned it up afterwords.

I've got 123,000 mi on my Intimidator SS, and I've never even had it down a dirt road! WAIT A MINUTE! I've got a dirt driveway! LOL!

I know a truck would be better... The Monte is what I had on this trip.
Never said it was smart.

It did ok.. I had to sometimes drive to the side of the ruts so that I would straddle the rut instead of the high spot.

It survived.. This was over two years ago too..

I have 96K on mine now and I had to put my 3rd dollar into the car.. Well, more then three dollars, but the last time I fixed something it was 2 dollars (seat lever)..

The water pump was just replaced so it is not too mad at me for taking it through the woods..

wow i dont think i would do that in a car that new, lol, but i've had my monte up a couple of dirt roads / trails to go hiking. the one is even more overgrown than the one you were on, being overtaken by thornbushes. my friend was with me and hes like "OMG your gonna eff up your paint!" and im like "paints alwready scratched up, i'ttl buff out", lol. and buff out it did than the other dirt road i met up with a guy in a pickup, and he was like " your nuts for bringin that back here" and i told him it was a super rare AWD RS model, 'caus " chevy was gonna run in rally's against suberu and mitsubeshi, but never did"

Because it is possible.

I didn't want to get into anything that would scratch the paint though. I did get into some hillier and more rutted up terrain though.
