Welcome! I have the Limited Editon guage cluster as well and I had Rosedale Chev where I live trace my cars lineage ( or however you spell it!) and presto it was part of the pace car editions I was told anyway. Mine just came back from the paint shop about a month ago and I was blown away when I was told that the rocker panels for my Monte were a $1000.00 a peice!!!! So it sits in storage. Again though yours probably comes from the pace car line or the high end sport package line. Either way your a lucky dude.

I don't want to be THAT guy that shoots down your dreams, but whoever told you that didn't really do their homework.

In 2003 all the official pace-cars were blue.

Each year had it's own official color, I believe it went:

00 - red
01 - black
02 - yellow
03 - blue

Welcome... I too have a "Limited Edition" w/ the Hi-Sport package... It's actually in the dealer shop waiting on a "Cluster Array"... I specified that if it does not have the red bowtie & the Limited Edition" on it that they will need to try again... I should have it back by Tuesday or Wednesday... I am going to try and trace the lineage on mine also... And no worries, we all started with 0 mods and look how far we've come and we ain't done yet...
