the ls1s were underrated. they dyno around the 300hp mark to the floor so more like 350/360. that said it should beat the monte heads up. depending on gearing could be good, could be a beating. i dont know if all the auto cars came with 2.70s in them. the sticks are quicker but harder to launch. some a4 ls1 owners claim to have gotten them into the 12s stock with no gearing. i say claim cause i dont buy that. that heavy *** car with no gearing making 360hp going high 12s? maybe on its best day with a great driver. anyway if you guys run them film it. and do one from a 35 roll. i think the monte has a chance there.
