What other parts of the interior are leather besides the seats and steering wheel? I have a feeling that the center rest, doors, and dash are vinyl.

Is there a difference between a car that is advertised "leather interior" and a car that is advertised "leather seats?"

My Cadillac had leather everywhere.

 

Only the seats and steering wheel are leather in the 06-07 Montes. Everything else is just as you guessed, vinyl. Cadillac is considered a premium brand vehicle so yes it probably did have leather everywhere. I think manufacturers advertise any way they want. I.E. leather interior or leather seats. Anyway they can attract people like moths to flames. LOL

 

I can't say if Cadillacs are like this but almost any car with leather seats has vinyl sides to it. I know my '06 Monte is like this and more the mopars my parents have owned with leather seats have been like this.

I thought it cheap of Chevy to make the door panels in the '06 Montes (and probably the '07s) hard plastic. They kind of feel like they have a overing over top of them but it's hard to tell without damaging the door panel to find out.
