I was told if my car was purple once.. by an officer while writing me a speeding ticket. The worst thing was is that she clocked the wrong car. Cruise control at 65 does't magically jump to 73 mph.

 

I would say yes, yes it is Purple.

Then fight the ticket because the information is wrong.

when i got my 06 it did look purple at times depending on the light. It sounds kind of funny, but since i've added a lot of black to the car (headlights, ss overlays, tint, etc.) It looks way more blue than anything.

Jess used to call it blurple, but i haven't heard that for a LONG time

 

Back in 09 I had a 97 Grand am GT as a winter beater and the car was that metallic flake green so clearly was green but the title was listed as blue. Talk about clueless, I told my friend my car was Supercharged and she says "I didn't know they made Supercharged sunfires" :O

 

When we got wifey's 05 Equinox. One of the mechanics at the dealer called it Blurple. I LOVE the laser blue. But, get told it looks like purple a lot. I don't really see it...But, maybe I'm just trying to hide it from myself. lol.

 

When I bought my 05 SS, my wife's first comment was "It's Purple". I told her I thought she liked purple. Looks blue to me.

purple?? i get navy alot It looks like regal blue matallic in the sun then when it gets cloudy and at night it looks Navy im confused myself lol

 

your is navy if i'm not mistaken. That's the same color as my 2002 LS. Nice color...hard as hell to keep clean though

 

I think so too and it is hard as hell to keep clean down here where im at school at people farm and stuff like that so the pollen is in the air and somehow dust magically attracts to my car it pisses my gf off how much I wash it or at least try too lol
