Default Birds of a feather....

Did the swapping of the receiver resolve anything? I have found a new receiver on gmpartsonline.net. However the harness is now discontinued and I'm like might as well replace it all; even though, the uncertainty of it all brings forth reluctance. I tried several time doing a system relearn through the radio and bingo it worked. For about 30 seconds. Thanks in advance for any input you can provide.

Swapping the receiver out fixed my issue completely. Mine old receiver was damaged from the heat of the Arizona sun and was actually deformed and melted.

Does anyone know if this same module controls the remote start in the '06-'07, or if it's somewhere else in the car? When I push the button, the lights flash and something clicks, but the car doesn't start.

BTW, unsurprisingly, the link for the new part is toast.
