I've wanted a '79 Monte since I was 13. I'm 29 now and I have finally found her. The gods smiled upon me and I bought one off an old-timer who looked after her well. The body and engine are close to pristine but the dash and gauges(no gauges function except speedometer) need some serious love and care. I want to keep her as original as possible. The dashboard and gauge panel are incredibly loose and could fall off at any moment. Also, the glove box completely drops out if I unlock it. I've researched parts and prices so I know I'll do this in small bites but any advice on where to begin would be greatly appreciated. I've never restored a car but I've wanted the Monte Carlo since I was a wee lad. AYUDAME POR FAVOR!

Google is your Friend ! Finding an original dash is not likely, nor going to be easy, I dont really have any good suggestions beyond, first asking Chevy, then looking for restoration
shops, I'm sure there are places out there or Danny the Kount in Las Vegas would not be able to do what he does. So I guess just start looking for restoration companies.
