Interior Parts Replacement
Hey all, haven't been around in a LONG time... I might be back soon as soon as I know where I am settling (about to graduate) and if it works I would like to replace my sub setup (so I will be back for advice, unless I settle into a 5 minute commute lol).
Anyway, I just got a bunch of bodywork done to my Monte Carlo after an accident (I wasn't at fault) and decided now that it looks nice and shiny I might as well do what I can to get it as nice and shiny as possible.
1- I need lug nut covers for the wheel. Chevrolet quoted me $4.59 a cap, found them online for much cheaper, but not as cheap as I'd like. I have several to replace, but I thought if they were affordable enough I'd love to get a complete second set to try painting red. Does anyone know exactly what I need? My Monte Carlo has all the packages (2003 SS) and including the upgraded wheels. I see they have different caps depending on the wheels, pretty sure mine are the steel wheels in which case I need the more expensive cap. However, as far as getting a complete second set for painting, does it matter which cap I get (only difference in picture LOOKS like the color of the cap).
2- I need a cover that goes under the dashboard on the passenger side. Chevrolet told me the part number was 10441056, it has some foam/padding on one side and I still have mine but the clips broke so it won't stay on. Now Chevrolet only told me $23.50 for this part, which isn't bad. However, according to a "note" on the item, if you have the round light with two notches in it I need a connector that costs $48.09! I'm pretty sure that is the light style I have. Any ideas on this? Like I said I have all the parts, just the clips are broken (so maby I don't need the $48 connector?)
3- I just thought of this but the speaker cover on the driver side door is broken. I believe it is built into the door panel so I assume this would be pretty pricey... but any ideas on this? I am less concerned about this part though, particularly since I assume it will be very pricey.
Thanks for the help! I can take a picture of that piece I was talking about if you guys need it.

Thanks a bunch! The part (#2) doesn't say anything about the light so I still want to look into that. I don't want to spend the (much more affordable!) $13 or so to get it and find out I still need a $48 light connector heh.
If I am correct about the speaker grille as well the complete door panel is over $300! As expected, too pricey for such a small aesthetic issue!
Thanks for that link! Anyone know about the light connector though? Or have good news about the speaker? Or have tried painting the lug nut covers? Hah! Thanks again!
