If there were no Monte Carlo ?

RE: If there were no Monte Carlo ?
That is a difficult question for me to answer because my Monte Carlo has affected events in my life. My grandfather bought the car in '78 and gave it to me when I graduated high school in 2000. He then bought a 2000 Monte Carlo LS, which made my mother want a Monte Carlo. She now has an '07 LS. If GM didn't make the Chevy Monte Carlo, who knows what kind of car my grandfather would have bought. I would like to think maybe he'd buy a '76 or '77 Pontiac LeMans or Grand Prix, but in all reality, he could have bought anything or nothing. He wouldn't have gone to buy a new car in 2000, which in turn he wouldn't have given me a classic for graduation. I would instead have bought one of the cars I had on my wish list back then... A 1969 Dodge Charger R/T (I wanted (still want actually) a General Lee) or a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am T-Top (I want KITT), but I probably would have ended up with some POS Honda or Toyota or something just because it got me from Point A to Point B. I would have never met my local car club because one of our members introduced me to the club and he use to own an '01 Monte Carlo SS. I met him on a Yahoo! Group called The 73-77 Chevy A-body Showcase, which is primarily made up of Monte Carlo's, and he had a Yahoo! Group called Northwest Monte Carlo Enthusiasts. I would have missed a lot of fun if I didn't be part of my car club. My mother would have chosen a 2007 Ford Mustang as a replacement to her '94 Oldsmobile Achieva. Today I don't know what I would be driving, but I know for a fact that I wouldn't have had as much fun as I have had with my Monte Carlo.
