Couple weird things...
A couple weeks ago my check engine light came on. Then a day or so later it just shut off, but my (ABS) and TRAC OFF lights came on and have been on ever since. I heard somwhere that maybe this is because of a bad wheel speed sensor, but I'm not sure. Then today I noticed something weirder. On the screen that gives you the outside temp, direction, MPG, range, etc., when I switch it to Inst Econ it just says -E-. What does this mean? I've never seen it say -E- before, and I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that myLow Fuellight was also on (I'm on low fuel quite a bit lately thanks to the $3.89 for a gallon of Super Unleaded) because it's never said that before when I've had low fuel in the past. I'm also not sure how long it's said -E- because I don't switch look at my Inst Econ all that often. I think that the (ABS) and TRAC OFF lights could possibly be related to the -E- reading on my Inst Econ, and if they are all being caused by a bad wheel speed sensor, then how much does it cost to replace the sensor and how hard is it to install?

If u have a k&n cai, that can be the cause of your problem. There is a ground wire that attaches to the fender and the bottom of the airbox that comes with the cai. If the screw is loose that attaches the metal end of the wire to the fender, the tract lights and abs lights will go haywire. Same thing happened to me. If this is the case, dont go to the dealer to fix it, they ripped me off.

Your right about the dealer, had same problem and told me my ebcm was bad and wanted 750 to fix, can't afford that right now, was cleaning my engine bay and found the ground loose fixed and cleared codes and now works correct. May not be your problem but worth looking into.

RE: Couple weird things...
Well I don't have a K&N CAI (though I will be ordering one here in the next week or so), but my guess is that the ground can still come loose? When I get the K&N and put it on, I will have to check it out. Thanks guys.
