i recommend him. the only reason nobody talk about him here cuz he's mostly in the grand prix forums and only a few people from the monte carlo forum know him or heard of him.

he's mostly on this forum. scroll down to the bottom of the page and you can read satisfaction comment left by other who bought his tranny or had work done to it. i'm on that forum also. enzo, jarhead and me are probably like the only active mc owners there lol.

You're going to deal with the same tuning headaches top-swapping as your would turboing- if not MORE headaches. If you had a factory L67, maybe the argument for a blower setup would work, but since you've got an L36 and a big budget, the blower setup makes no sense at all.

Don't L67 swap, keep your higher compression bottom end- with your budget, you'll make more power.

So I talked to zzp again (cuz they've been the only ones responding) and this is the supercharger setup the gave me..

Well to go supercharged, you will need a complete Top swap from a supercharged engine, which includes:

* *

* *Gaskets:

* ** ********Felpro head gaskets (2)

* ** ********Felpro head bolts (set)

* ** ********GM aluminum lower intake gasket set

* ** ********Gen3 supercharger gasket

* ** ********L67 throttlebody gasket

* ** ********L67 valve cover gaskets

* ** ********Coolant O Rings

* ** ********Fuel Injector O Rings

* ** ********Crank bolt

* *

* *L67 Top swap parts list:

* ** * *L67 Balancer
* ** * *L67 idler pulley standoff
* ** * *Supercharger belt
* ** * *L67 throttlebody
* ** * *Gen3 blower w/pulley
* ** * *Gen3 lower intake
* ** * *L67 heads w/ valve covers
* ** * *Fuel rails
* ** * *Injectors (01+ will also need injector connectors)

* *And those parts will come to around $1800, but the install of just those parts will cost about $1200. *And that is to just bolt on about 50hp.

* *Then to gain some good power, you would want to pick up these parts:

For that much money I would install a ZZP Z7 turbo that would beat the stink out of any Super charge car. And you WILL make much more power than a regular M90 blower, be it from a Gen 3 or a Gen V. There's less work going turbo and the gains in HP are more intense than S/C. Then to beef up the trans and Diff and, if you want to go even faster, change the cam/rockers/lifters with rollers/heads/bigger TB! (You'll be saving money just to pay for the speeding tickets)

If you Must go Supercharge, go with a Gen V set up. They generate less heat and more power, I think 20-25 hp more, than a Gen 3. (the L67 is a Gen 3 and an L32 is a gen V)

Anyway, while you're in Afghanistan think about your plans for the car. Go with the set up that will give you THE BEST performance for the money, as well as one that will make YOU HAPPY in the end.
