Default I think I've come to the end!

Decided to search on google 04 dale jr #7 of 2883 and this came up.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/781897...et-monte-carlo

Everything described is exact to my lovely #7, excluding the radio. Whoever this guy (original owner) sold it to changed everything back to the originals. It does not have the subs & amp though, signs of re-installation is visible on the amp. Dashboard has slight abraision on the screws, from installation im assuming.

It solves the question of the exhaust too, in the list of mods:
"MODS: DHP 1.0 PCM,Loudmouth exhaust, 2 12" JL Audio subs, MTX Thunder 81000d amp, alpine deck w/ ipod converter hooked up to an ipod 40gig."

Just sent the guy a message, hoping he's the real deal..even if he didn't have the original certificate I can still ask him about the car.

That's actually pretty cool the guy still has that page up! I doubt he has any of the stuff he pulled off the car any more, but hey, never hurts to ask.

FYI - One thing I wish I did when I bought my Monte was have either a hard or soft copy of the eBay listing from which I found it, just for my records. Just adds to my file of historical information about my Monte. But mine came from around Buffalo New York (the guy met me half way in Erie PA) and I drove it home after it met with my inspection (it was not bought via eBay, no one met his reserve price and I made him a fair offer on the phone).

Would't hurt to ask the guy. But if he hates Nascar and Dale Jr, I doubt he would've kept the COA. Probably went in the garbage with the 8's and the Dale Jr signature sticker. But give it a shot anyway.

Thats awesome! I always think of leaving my email or number in the glove box of my vehicles when I sell them but I ususally never do. I think I might start doing that though as theres been a few times where I wish I knew who owned my vehicles before me.

I'm not so sure that's a good idea. You might invite situations you don't want too (such as someone contacting you with complaints). It's typically best when you sell a car, sell it and be done with it. If there is a reason somebody NEEDS to talk to a previous owner, they can have some title work done (for a fee).

This is true. I've always had the feeling that if I buy a used car I know what I'm getting into its used not new, but I know not everyone will think like that. I am guilty at times looking at some things such as a scratch or something inside the car and going "how the **** did the accomplish that" so I can see that point of view. I mainly meant I think of doing it when the vehicle is traded or sold to the dealership. I may tell the dealer everything wrong with it or the history or give them records/reciepts but that dosent mean the dealer will tell the new owner such things. In that case I would not mind a call telling me that theres a problem with such and such part because then I could tell them well the reciept for this part was included up sale/trade in to the dealer or yeah i had toruble with that part too and informed them etc etc then they could bring that up to the dealer. If I'm the private seller selling the car to someone I will tell them everything they need to know that I know about the car. Maybe I'm just more understanding than most people. I've always had good luck with who gets my cars. Even my junkers. When I sold my 85 Impala the guy who got it text me every month with updated pics, he even text me the day after telling me the hub assemblies were all shot and it needed a carb (which I told him but he must not have belived me), yet he was happy he could save it from being a demo car. Anyway I rambled enough lol like I said I'm either more understanding than most people or I get lucky with who i sell to.
