Default I may have knocked the rear defroster loose

My music could be to blame for my defroster to not work anymore of it could be the fact that i recently had to replace my dash, other than other than goin back to the body shop is there a way i could figure it out without taken the dash off myself??? if i gotta do all that, i'll just take it to the shop

If you're talking about it coming off, the same thing happened to me recently.
My trunk isn't dynamat-ed so the solder on one of my rear defrosters came off, I still have to re-solder it.

If the back window tray hasn't been touched, the connectors are tight and firm to the window, no fuse has been blown, and your heater controls are otherwise working, AND the light on the control lights up, chances are you still have a bad connection at the window. If the rear defroster light doesn't come on, or something else wrong with the control, such as lights not working, I'd say you have a connector loose in the control. But the 2 connectors in the control do more than just the rear defroster. TYPICALLY, it's the connector at the window. Do a quick search here and you'll find MANY other threads about that.

Sadly this just happened to my beloved Monte.
Hmm, is soldering it the only way?
lol, i was thinking more like "conductive" glue, if it exists
any in put?
The right small block on the rear windshield came off.

If you don't want to solder there are kits to fix the rear-defroster in any automotive store.

IMO, soldering it would be the best fix. Certainly better than any "conductive" glue out there.

Hey thanks Mike,

I will have to look into that.
It recently happened, kinda fast to realize.
There was a clicking sound in the back, and when i went to look, i noticed that the little block was hanging out of place, i was like WTF!?!

Thanks again.
