How much is my SS worth??
I'm getting rid of my Monte.
1987 Monte Carlo SS
Mileage - 67,000
Exterior - All white, new paint, no emblems, or decals. Minor scrape on corner of front bumper. No dents or dings.
Interior - New two-tone interior and carpet. New radio, but speakers need replacement because the sound is slightly muffled. Gear shifter is missing the "metal staple" that keeps it together.
Condition - Runs great, but there is a minor oil leak, antifreeze leak and the windshield wiper switch is broken. The windshield wipers work, but it's difficult to turn them off until the car turns off. Left signal light doesn't work when nightlights are on. No A/C, but heat works.
How much should I sell it for??

I'd say about $10000 without that interior would be a decent price to kind of build off of. Maybe 11-12k with that interior, and fix all of the little things first. It's amazing how far a few new receipts will go for the price of a car, helps show how well maintained it is.
The new paint also helps, but it also kind of gets rid of the originality of it, which someone might want, no one knows what might be filled in under that fresh coat.
What is wrong with the A/C exactly, a lot of people are going to nit pick on that little stuff in the price as well.
I say anywhere from 10-12 is fair, maybe go down to 9 as your lowest.
