bought the car new in 04, with 48 miles on her. the only thing that ive had done to the car was the basic oil changes range anywhere from 2000-3000 miles each time. 2 different recalls, one was for antifreeze or something like that can't quite remember, and the other one was with that possible fire thing. ive had my bcm replaced, because the doors would lock and unlock when they wanted too, and the truck would pop its self when it wanted too. and this spring ive had the ignition switch replaced because it was faulty. but thats the only thing thats been need to be replaced on it. the car has been awsome.

I have a 1986 monte carlo cl with only 75,107 and the car sat for awhile and all i did was general maintenance battery, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and carb rebuild....... The rest of the work i did was just to update the suspension and brake system

ours had 159,000ish when we got it and it only has 182,000 some odd miles on it now(in a year and 4 months), had the fire recall thing done, a new intake(EGR tube rotted) needs rear struts(originals) and needs a passenger power window switch, leather is still in fairly good shape and the paint looks pretty good

My 2004 Dale Jr. has 90,224 miles on it. I bought it Dec 3, 2009 from the original owner with 87,889 miles on it. Since then I've tuned it up with new wires, plugs, air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter, pcv valve, thermostat, upper radiator hose, and new tires. Changed the tranny fluid and filter. I've had the LIM & valve cover gaskets replaced but I knew they were bad when I bought the car. The MAP sensor was replaced due to a misdiagnose from my mechanic but other than that its been good so far.
I don't drive it much because it doesn't get the gas mileage I thought it would and I finally fixed my 92 Cavalier which gets 32mpg, so it mostly sits. I do need to drive it more.

How many miles to you have on your Monte Carlo ?
I have Just bout 90,000 miles
What problems have you had with your Monte Carlo ?
I haven't had a lot of problems with mine. I had my speedometer get stuck, like I'd be completely stopped and it would still say I was goin like 75mph or so. The only other thing I can think of that has happened is that my sunroof gets stuck open, I have to hit the button a bunch of times for it to be able to close.
Please contain year & engine in your post.
I have a 2004 with the 3.8 S/C
Do you do your own work on your Monte ?
Yes I do all my own work on my Monte =]
