Carloss has 267, 893 kms a few issues but they were all relatively minor in the grand scheme of things, a MAF sensor, EGR Valve and Driver side power window switch. there was another problem when I first purchased where it would start and then just die but once under acceleration it was fine but for the life of me I can't remember what the name of the part was that was the cause of the problem. Oh yeah also the annoying ABS wheel speed sensors, but I have since learned to live with the abs light on the dash
Monique has 132, 000 kms, *knock on wood* has only had regular maintenance on her, just replaced the exhaust from the cat back and tires and windshield wipers.

84 CL 229 (3.8) with close to 135 miles on it. Only thing that I can say is a problem would be minor electrical problems due to thieves and my ac compressor went out. I recently had to replace radiator (original radiator replaced). Other than that the V6 is running like a champ. Currently working on getting body lined up properly and ready for paint and swapping that 229 for a 383.

My 85 SS has 104,000 miles and I had a new tranny and driveshaft installed 9 years ago. I had issues with the torque converter when the car was less then a year old. Turns out my drive shaft had a defect that did not show up until it cracked the rear of transmission housing due to some kind of failure. No issues since then.
No motor work has been done outside of tune ups, oil, and a lightweight radiator replaced a semi clogged and rock damaged original. Replaced the fan clutch when it seized and did not allow the fan to move freely.
Took out the air conditioning compressor for weight after freon was no longer available.
Modern shocks make the car handle so much better, especially if you use some aftermarket wheels and tires.
I like the car because it is easy to work on and not much computer control compared to modern cars.
Oh yeah, original paint is in ok condition, but car needs a repaint, but that will all happen someday when I restore and modernize it where possible.
Going on 30 years and hopefully 30 more! lol
