About to hit 95,000 miles on my 2002 SS. I have owned her since September of 2010. She had 87,000 on her when I bought her. So 8,000 miles in 10 months isn't bad I guess lol. She is my daily driver. Problems I have had are replaced resonator because it was rusted thru when I bought it. Fixed water leak in trunk due to rear window leaking. A/C condenser still needs replaced. Drives heated seat needs fixed had a hole burnt thru it when I bought it. Had entire car repainted and fixed rust on bottom inside lip of both doors and in rear wheel well. Replaced thermostat because car wouldnt heat up. And most recent I suspect the BCM is going out due to weird electrical problems ( gauges resetting while driving, and headlights turning off by themselves at night) but mechanically she is solid as a rock. She is a beautiful car and I look forward to fixing her issues and getting many miles out of her.

Ahh true confessions. In my first year I bought tires, a coolant flush, trans flush, a clicker a Flowmaster and rims. Tires were needed, fluid flushes were benchmarks. Muffler and rims were a gift for the baby, a clicker 'cause it didn't come with one.
I'm going to need brakes soon, I have warped rotors that shake at 62, and want that brake fluid flushed out anyway to continue the fluid change goal. The trans sometimes slips when going from P to R or D, expect that needing repair next year or sooner.
There's gremlins in the seatbelt sensors. If you don't buckle within a certain time after starting the seatbelt warning light does not go out after I buckle up. So I turn off the ignition, open and close the door restart and the seatbelt light goes out, but then the airbag fault light stays on and the DIC say a to service air bag. The NEXT start after that is normal. Oh, and the key-in-ignition electronics is whacked too. 90% of the time the chime dings with no key in the lock and the door is open.
Cosmetically there's a sideswipe over the LR wheel well, and the rear bumper cover is torn from what looks like a bad attempt to tow something or I suspect the car was towed or pulled, as in some kind of hasty repo.
She's not the car of my dreams, she was in the right place a the right time when I was shopping for a commuter. If all goes right Ill have 250,000 miles on it in a few years. If there are no surprises the electric and cosmetics will be fixed by then.
