78 Monte = 246,000 miles

No major problems. Alternator, battery, fuel pump, thermostat, the worst problem was replacing the gas tank.

198,1XX The Monte has been solid as a rock for most of the 100,000-200,000 mile jaunt. The only issue in between there at around 140K if I recall correctly, was the actuators for the climate control.

Now at 73,000mi.
Nothing major so far. *knock on wood* Gas mileage has been decreasing, my colder copper plugs are finally wearing out. Got some e3's and figured I would give them a try.

Hopefully the random hesitation/long start issue has been solved. The night of my fbody caliper swap I started the car and it took a bit to turn over and after I got a insane ticking sound coming from the purge valve solenoid. Next morning it gave me a rough start and bucked a little when I gave it gas. Bought a new purge valve solenoid from work, and it purrs like a kitten! Each and every start up is strong and smooth, glad thats fixed!

Still got that annoying clunk/crunch in the suspension. waiting on money for shocks and springs. Still have a broken ebrake. it 'kinda' works..
lost a exhaust tip! rusted through a clamped fitting.

Loose Lucy passed the 150,000 mile mark tonight somewhere along US 101, probably Prunedale.

No breakdowns or fixes needed since the thermostat last winter.
