Hypothetically speaking.. if I were to be making some projectors and glued on my projector shroud to the proector lens with silicone that was only rated up to 200 degrees F, is that bad? I'm worried now that something bad might happen to the silicone in the heat to ruin my nice new headlights.

 

you should be fine, they don't get too overly hot, they will get hot, but i don't think 200*F, get 35W not 55W or else you might get a problem

 

Yes just get 35w you should be fine.
