Default HID bulbs

Hey guys, I recently bought a pair of 100W Hyper white bulbs for my '06 LT. I love how they look and they're working out great. Can I buy another pair and use them for my brights as well? They seem like they're comparable but I'm afraid to just make the move and blow a fuse or something.

Thanks for the help!

If anything you're going to melt the harness. It could happen. I'm not saying it will. 100W is a lot of draw since our stock bulbs are only 55W I believe. Also, those aren't actually HID bulbs. They sound like Xenon gas filled Halogen bulbs. Huge difference. I guess if they work in the low beam, they'd work in the high beam. No difference there.

If you want to use the same color for your brights I just want to point out that they're H9's and the lo beams are H11's.

But I don't see why the same color shouldn't work for your bulbs.

I do agree with Rick about melting the harness though because I had Luminics Bulbs in my car for a while and I went through 3 pairs all burning out until I decided to go with an HID kit. They were 75 watts each, so I'm scared to think what 100 watts can do, but that's just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I know they're not real HID's. They're simply more powerful bulbs. For those of you guys who have kits, which do you recommend and do you have a link? Thanks again!
