Hello, well I'm trying to upload photo's from my computer and it says files to large. I don't know why as I used to always upload from my computers pictures files before. So anyway I know on Photobucket I can resize the pictures. However when I'm trying to add pictures to the album all it gives me is the browse option and it opens up my laptops picture files. There is no opportunity to use my photobucket account. Am I missing something/ it's getting so frustrating trying to get signatures and garage pictures done. Appreciate any tips on how to get things completed.

 

Download GIMP and resize it to the maximum allowed. What kind of images are they saved as?

As far as resizeing pics from your computer is fairly easy...

Choose the picture you wish to upload to the site...

Right click on the picture, Left click on edit, Then just look at the top of the page and left click on resize....

I would recommend resizeing it from 100 to 50....(Just type it in manualy)

then close the picture (red X) it will ask you if you want to save the changes
you have made and click yes or ok...(I forget what word it is)...
and you should be able to upload to the site with no problem from your computer...

Camera pics I have to resize....
Phone pics I dont have to...

The upload function you are using is to transfer pictures from your computer to the forum. Instead of clicking on that option, copy the IMG link (right side of page while viewing photo in Photobucket album) and paste it on your page where you want the image to appear. Any resizing can be done at Photobucket prior to copying the IMG link.
