I can attest to that, not AS hot but still plenty hot enough imo. I'd only worry about it if you lived in Alaska or somewhere that gets really cold often.

Up-date... Installed a 180 degree thermo and had the fans adjusted accordingly when Will (Overkill Motorsports) tuned my PCM... Now the temp rides in the sweet zone all the time... In traffic or on the hiway, full power is always available (without heat fade or sluggishness)... Noticed that the heater doesn't blow as hot as before, but definately more than enough... Would highly suggest this mod... Thanks to all for the info...

all the gm's i've had get un-godly hot when cranked up. i usually have to turn it off once it heats up. you usually feel some air still coming out the vents when off though (which i like since i can fine tune it with the thermostat ****).
