Today we charged our AC system.....and we have colder air and show pressures of 45 on low side and 220 on high side....we put in 3 cans of 134a ....the vent thermometer dropped 20 degrees from 80 to 60,

My question is how cold should the Cold Air get out of the vents?
Anyone know...we have 2003 3.4 Monte

 

Once the car is up to operating temp, with the a/c set to the coldest setting and on recirculate, the air coming out should be 40-50 or so.

 

Ok, thanks for the response. We went for a drive and and it got down to 50 degree. Sure is good to have some cold air...hopefully it last awhile..
