Smile hopefully today it will be complete..at least for now

hey guys i know i haven't posted any photos except a far external shot of my car. pics will be up within the next 2 weeks, for some reason mcf doesn't like my iPhone 5s pics to upload.

anyway what a nightmare this car stuff is. i understand things happen and worst of all i don't know how to install and remove parts myself as i do not have the proper tools to do so or knowledge, but i learn as i go along. the past 2 months have been a damn nightmare. my car was in the performance shop for 3 weeks, for the install of cam, heads, oversized radiator and waiting for the pulleys to run a front belt setup so i can run more boost with smaller pulleys. the guy would not start the car without the pulley parts which was ridiculous because they were there the 5th day the car was there. my car sat there for literally 1 week doing nothing while i could have had and not stressed about rides to and from work. to me this should have takes at most 4 days.

of course things never go as planned, the l67 crank sensor didn't work so he had to run diagnostics and rip off all the wiring and find the problem, which tool about a full day. keep in mind I'm not the only one in the shop.

the part that really aggravated me was the day i went to pick up the car. first off the dyne tune was one roll, reason being my 33# injectors were too small so today he is putting in green giant bosch 42.5lbs because the car has been running dangerously lean, and he didn't tune every aspect including throttle response or whatever is supposed to be done. however without the wot it ran 326whp and 310wtq and on the dyno chart the line goes up and down at 6300rpm which shows its running lean.

the next peeve i had was my wiring on the engine bay. the guy said the day that he was diagnosing the problem with the crank sensor he stayed till 4 am fixing the wires because he broke one of the lines and blamed it on the previous installer. so the lines and wire loom were just slapped back on the engine, the mac sensor which he is moving today was laying on top of my billet chrome oil cover which is no good. also, he wrote numbers on my 140$ mad wire connectors to remember where they plug into. the part that is the WORST, is that he forgot to zip tie my 02 lines to the bar on the top of the engine bay, so the wire loom as well as the wires are completely melted, and 1/4 lines wouldn't connect when he cut and tried to re sodder it back together.

he said he is replacing them today no charge as well as loom. also, i have a wire hanging under the front driver side tire area by my intercooler which who the hell knows where that is supposed to be connected to. the idol was set to 8-850 lowest on the stock converter and now runs at 1k-1100 rpms warm which is too high so I'm hoping the 02 lines help fix that as well as re re tuning. the part that was very slick was the bill.

i called the guy every other day to check on the car and stated to please call me if the bill goes up from our base price.he never did. he added spark plugs, charged me for the diagnostics with the wires he broke because "he had to charge me something" how about $475?

after being there 1 hour arguing with the guy 2 weeks ago he dropped the bill 500$ which was still not enough, with the amount i paid i could have put a dp on a new car. anyway I'm heading back at 4pm to surprise him to see how it goes as he claims it should only take 6 hours to install injectors with the dyno tune. for all you guys out there who are ocd with cleanliness and scratches, please i wanted to ask this guy if he wipes his own ***. my driverside floor area as well as back seat and wall panel had white quick dry everywhere and when i complained about this he apologized and said he has no idea what happened and that nothing was in my car.

it cleaned off but still it should have came out of the shop better than the way it went in. anyway guys thanks for reading this if you did, and I've learned a valuable lesson. car shops suck your wallet dry and pull moves to screw you over. p.s. the guy wouldn't let me take my car home without locking my computer the day i took it home two weeks ago to guarantee i would go back for the injector and dyno tune. scum bag, entrapment and poor customer service

. i have been driving 2weeks without inspection because the engine light has been on due to the melted 02 lines. great.

hey space thanks for commenting.. i got it back yesterday and wow it runs great. of course there was traffic and it was raining yesterday and now today so i couldn't really open her up. my two days off the roads are soaked. anyway yesterday had to be humid which was not fair for my dyno time as i lost a few hp so i was under 325 wheel and low 3s for wtq. according to the guy he said when its cooler out usually this season it should be easily getting 335 whp especially with the biger injectors. too bad it can't bee cold year round. he wants me to run e85 because ill get more power that way as well and a water/meth kit but I'm definitely not running e85 until it is off the road and not my dd
