Looks like a PT Cruiser.... Oh yeah, Chevy hired the original designer to make the HHR.... not much imagination on style change.
I think they made the PT Cruiser to look like a 1950's Chevy 3100.
There is possibly truth in that too. I've even heard people saying it is modeled after Ford ******* and the 32 duece. That is stretching it, but there are some similarities.
