Help with purchase decision

Hey, thanks for the great welcome guys! ...way more friendly than the other car forums I've been a member of ;-p
I'm not sure about posting a pic... it's a rather boring silver(and a few dings/rust). I can't afford a re-paint but I was thinking of painting the rockers black and hitting a wrecker to find fogs and a spoiler. Thoughts??
