you filled the PSI to normal range with all the other tires, now it says it's empty when it's full?

After you fill the PSI you should reset the tire monitors. It's in your owners manual.

Hi `Chris from the Keystone State
and Welcome to our MCF Family.

How many miles on your LT ?
If you are still under warranty I would take it back
and have them check out your tire monitoring sensor's.

Look 4ward to seeing pictures of your Monte.
Read your Owner's Manual & if you can't find what U R Look'in
for, just post your questions, and our member's will do their
best to Help.
Look 4ward 2 your future posts.
Good Luck

I'm thinking it's a bad sensor. Do you have remote start/keyless entry? Does the range suck? If so, it might be the whole computer module that controls this. I thought it was a service bulletin for this.

Hi Chris,

Congratulations on buying the 2006 Monte.

Please post some picture for us.

To re-set the tire monitor system look in the owner's manual. But I too feel the issue is the sensor at that particular wheel that's the problem. Not the entire system.

If the engine light was on I'd definately have it checked out. Just to make sure.

Default thanks for the responses, learned a lot so far!!

hey all who have and replied and may in the future, i really appreciate all the help this far into my ownership of a Monte Carlo. i really like the car a lot and my daughter has given it the nick name "MONTE" which isn't to original but i like it and if she likes it then all the better. i have a picture that she took with her cell phone but not sure how to add it into an e-mail. but i'll try and figure it out. also i will be looking into the problem with the TPM sensors on the wheels. i did not realize there was 1 in each wheel, so thanks for the help. i will be back again very soon. i really enjoy this forum. thanks

The receiver for the TPM sensors is the same receiver for the key fob and most of them have gone to hell, if you still have a warranty ask them to look at the service bulletin for it. I think it's like a $500 fix out of warranty hence the reason I've yet to get mine fixed. Check engine light should defiantly be looked at, the code should be stored for the mechanics to look up. Traction control is a new one to me so I'd say tell them about it for sure.

Good luck with your Monte, I know mine's given me lots of good times.
