I have a 95 monte Well I read some stuff on here and I changed the brake light switch first and it still won't work some said to disconnect the sylinoid but that didn't work what should I do or what am I doing wrong

 

I had that issue once with my 99 and I started the car and left it warm up for a bit then I turned the steering wheel and it made the trip out of park finally, It did it several times and I cleaned the area under the console and the shifting lever linkage, then I Re-lubed it. I haven't had the problem anylonger. Something that worked for me.
