Found an 06 Impala at a local pick n pull. Assuming the headlights will fit to my car (and assuming the headlights are intact), I'm going to pick them up today or tomorrow ($40ish total).

I want darker headlights...should I try and tint them someway, somehow, or should I paint some of the chrome on the inside black? I've been thinking about doing this to my monte's headlights, but am too scared to mess them up!!!

Ditto. I've wanted to do this since I bought my car. It's no easy task. You have to bake them, pry them open and then do a lot of work with the inside, and then attempt to reseal them properly.

Yep, in an oven. I'd have to do some searching to find the instructions.

 

id deff paint the chrome black rather than tint them, but yeah its easy to bake them just make sure u put them on a board & not directly on the oven rack
