i saw some person with RED halo headlights...ive been googling for the red halos and cant find a headlamp with the red...ive only came across white and blue. can anyone help me find this product? mayb can the halos be swapped out? for example if i buy the white haloed headlights i can then buy a red halo to put in the whites place? thanks for the time everyone!

 

I could be wrong, but I believe the reason you can't find them is that they are illegal. I know in most states it is illegal to have red or blue lights on the car while it is moving. I m guessing someone just modified regular halo's.

 

^x2. Red and blue lights are illegal in most states. I plan on rebuilding mine as one of the projectors has failed and I'll probably replace the halo's while I'm at it.

 

I was just looking into the same thing today. When i mentioned it to my buddy who works at STS tires, he told me it is illegal... I was thinking i might be able to get away with it if the red halos are installed around the low beams, seeing as their on all the time it might not me too noticeable but im not reccomending anything lol. I have yet to get the proper diameter of the stock halos on my lights so this link is possibly incorret but the install is possible.

I had clear corners on my Subaru WRX with white bulbs that looked like they had a slight blue tint. I was pulled over 12 times even though they were white bulbs, since they appeared blue I was harassed non stop.

 

well if i get the red halos im going to wire them to a switch so i can put them on on command....specifically used for show

 

like everyone said it's illegal.

you will have to do it custom because there are none sold like that, the switch sounds like a good idea.

from what i've read the projectors for your generation are crappy so you'll have to crack them open to reseal them so they dont fog up, that'd be a good time to replace the halos
