Damn that sucks to hear mike
Hopefully you get everything straightened out. Getting another 6th gen sounds like a good idea though one with less miles etc. then just transfer everything over

I know, it's just so odd since the same mechanic inspected it the past 3 years.

He told me about the fuel lines last year though. So odd with the radiator.

Getting another 6th gen is my LAST option.

I might consider selling mine in about a year if you're wanting to come down here and get it. Mine is in the "All the dash lights burning out, clear coat starting to lift, steering wheel starting to dry rot out, needs a little TLC stage." I'll throw in a ride in three classic Ford's to add insult to injury if you come down.

I don't know if I can bring myself to part with my car either though.

You've got so much in that car. It would be a heartbreaker to see it all go. Wow... crazyness.

But there does come a point where you have to consider how much will the car be worth next year, and how much is it worth now, and how much will it cost to make the said repairs...

I believe you're a member of our high mileage club in these parts too, are you not?

Bad news for sure! Hope it can pass so at the smaller shop so you can still enjoy it a little more before totally putting it away. Mine has plenty of rust underneath too, wonder if mine would pass if my area required inspection?

Getting another 6th gen and transferring mods sounds like a good plan though, if its still an option for you after the next inspection.

Wow sorry to hear Mike. Makes me wonder what my pillars look like... If this can happen to your car.. It can happen to mine. Minnesota likes to use ridiculous amounts of salt.

I kinda wanna do an under body coat now to prevent serious rust if mine isn't horrid xD
