I know, I thought of that too. Every year I played a joke, but this year I guess I am paying for it

I do get an annual inspection, the same guy inspected it this year as last. Apparently this can happen in a years time.

o wow thats horrible news, and the scary thing is my rad support on turbo monte it rusted bad as well. let me know what the body shop says about fixing the rad support because i will need to be doing that soon as well

 

that's no good at all. Which state do you live in that requires these inspections? I'm curious to see pictures of what they consider unpassable if you can.

 

Me too if possible I'd like to see pics. That surely sucks mike. I don't think getting another 6th gen and swapping things over would be too terrible but I know how it feels to be attached to a car.

 

Wow that blows your Monte is having issues like that. Also around here in Utah once a shop fails you it's entered in a computer data base and you cannot take it to another shop, because when they enter your data it will pop up that you have a problem that failed you at another station. And so you pay the 1st shop for the inspection and fail, then you have to still pay the 2nd shop and still are failing. Forces you to fix it... Big Brother is getting smarter.....

 

This sucks man,and i have mine coming up and i wanna get under there and check mine out while its on the lift so i can see what needs to be done

 

Mike so sorry man our monte's are like a relative. Bright side maybe you can get an upgraded Monte?

That really does suck I hope you can get it fixed. i would try another shop as well. I'm glad we don't have inspections here in MI but if we did a lot of cars would not pass the basics.
