Jerry maybe you should have a pro photograph your car. At least in those pics you can tell it's not black but it does not look purple.

Hi Jerry,
If you know a friend that's into pictures,
please ask him the best camera setting you should use
to bring out the true awesome color of your S.S.

Great looking S.S., but the picture just doesn't do this
rare color justice to you or the viewers.

I tried to bring out the purple with my old corel PhotoChopper, but it's still does not reflect the
true beauty of your S.S. 4-Sure.
I cleaned it, polished it, waxed it & buffed it out, but I still couldn't get it right : ) LOL
At first, I thought it was my setting
on my computer color, but now I've noticed
many member's are seeing it the same as I.
I know you won't stop until you get it right : )
That's the kinda guy you are when it comes

Nice looking Monte, i was going to ask what color it actually was. In the shade it looks black, and in the sun it looks like a Plum Color. Storm Bringer, wasn't that a Deep Purple Album?!

Now that you mention it, why yes it was!! 1974 I believe, or there abouts! Thought it a cool name for my ride, just downloaded all of Deep Purples music awhile back, but didn't get to make a playlist out of it all yet, will have to get on that. Always liked them. Getting back into some of the old stuff like UFO and such again, that I used to listen to long ago...
