I agree. Something I learned a long time ago about vehicles with mechanical odometers is this: If the odometer has rolled over or someone has rolled it back the numbers will no longer line up in a straight line. If you look closely you will see that the 1 in the hundreds column and the 9 in the ones column do not line up with the rest of the numbers. They are sitting a little lower. There's no doubt that this car is clean looking, but I seriously doubt that it only has 12,000 miles on it.

Still a beautiful car, nonetheless. Too bad it looks as if the odometer's been tampered with...

If someone had access to a DMV computer, wouldn't they be able to run the VIN number and check for a more accurate mileage? Carfax only works if the car has reported accidents.

He he, just like my Olds 307 back in the day. 0-60 in what seemed like 5 minutes because of loads of smog control crap.. I would be concerned about rubber components (including the tires) rotting away because of age.. Cars of that era had about 5 miles of vacuum hoses on them for the various devices in the car still, as well as the infamous computer controlled Q-Jet carb. Also, original Windshield Washer Fluid? Otherwise it's a nice car!
