As some of you know i traded my Monte for the new 2013 malibu. Love the car runs smooth and is great in gas but i missed my old Monte so bad I'm going to get another one!
only this time I'm thinking about getting a NA series 2 and throwing a turbo on it. Found a motor and tranny (stock) for 150! Miles are only 100k and was wondering how turbo charging this motor would work? Any feedback on the Monte guys out there that have turbo builds? Very excited to feel that power again
Lol

I never did like homework
thanks for the info though trust me I'm going to do tons of research lol
The engine and trans is coming out of a grand prix 99. I am going to rebuild everything camming asap and forging the pistons. Making sure my trans will be able to withhold the power i want which is 400whp minimum! Big goal i know but yes it's going to be my new project![Congrats](https://montecarloforum.com/forum/images/smilies/congrats.gif)
Only problem is...idk ANYTHING about turbos!
lol any recommendations?
Yea might of been cheaper to fix her up but the dealer showed me my Monte yesterday morning...they test drove it too long and blew up the trans!
so I'm glad i traded it in lol
I found a 2002 ss monte here for 850 with no motor or trans
perfect body other than a worn out passenger seat. Replaceable though
Might take me a while to get her turbocharged cuz it is a project but I'm going to say i wanna shoot for 11s in 2yrs

12s is probably more reasonable. Hooking up these cars is not the easiest.
ZZPerformance.com look at the Z7 and you should have your goal with an intercooler.
Don't worry about forging pistons or any of that. These blocks are beasts. Truthfully if you were sourcing an engine, I would get an L26 block.
