I have a 71 Monte Carlo that I just put a new hood on. I thought I had the latch and the pin lined up but once I close it cannot get it to unlatch. I’ve pushed down and pull I am pull the lever to the same time but nothing happens. Want to know if anyone has had this issue and knows how to resolve it or do I got to get my die grinder out and cut out the latch?
