modify the air box
throttle body screen delete

they're not going to give you any real substantial gains though. you're going to have to spend some bucks. at least get a high-flow air filter and get rid of the u-bend.

remember, more money=more horsepower

Do not pull the TB MAF screen... this is a myth. if you do research you will find this to be true. the screen is there so that the air flow is made uniform to allow the MAF to get a good reading... if pulled, the MAF will not be accurate... and you will loose any gain that removing it would have given.

if your looking to make the car faster, the best thing is weight reduction. dont be driving around with tons of junk in the car and large sub systems. if you want bass still do a compact system with like one 10 or 12 remove the extra padding under the carpets and door panels.

on the 3800 there are also engine lift brackets that you can pull (ZZP covers this)

but your biggest gains are to be made from intake and exhaust work. all cost $$$ you can save $$ by building your own Fender Well Intake.
