I honestly don't like either. They're just not my style. But to each their own. I get a lot of people that ask me why I built a 98 Monte Carlo, and the answer is that I just like the car. If you want one, just buy it

If I had to choose between the two, I'd take the pace car. Mainly because I want to play with the lights.

I'm disappointed in what someone did to the Gordon Monte. I have an older picture of that car. And somewhere along the line, the wheels got swapped out with what looks like cheaper ones.

I've attached the picture showing the rims that used to be on it. I like the these better. If I bought the Gordon Monte, I'd be trying to find duplicates of the these rims.

 

I think that Jeff Gordon car is the bomb! I really do like both, but if that Jeff Gordon Edition had been available for purchase when I bought the BudChev my name would be GordonCar. I think that was a better JG design, though I could see how sales might not have been great. I like the rims he put on it too, although I'd wanna keep it original. In theory at least - I didn't keep this Jr Edition original, did I?

 

I Like em both.. But that 2nd one is sick I would like to have that as a SECOND monte very much..

 

I like the second one myself. Just don't care for the paint scheme on the Gordon Edition. I remember when those came out. I do however like the custom car cover that seems to come with it.

I dont watch nascar and im not really a fan, but man i always thought their cars looked sweet! I actually like them both but the second one is a total eye grabber
