Hello All...
I am attaching a link to a web site that has photos of what really
was a show-n-shine in Sherwood, Arkansas.
This was my Very first car show to participate in. Still haven't gotten
the results due to a trophy mix up and it was a first for
the organizers. The show was back in middle November.
I had a good time and it was all for a worthy cause.

I probably didn't win any places because there were some cars
of my same decade ( 00 - 10 ) that were nicer than mine and with
just enough mods. on them to keep them stock.......we'll wait and see.
A 85-88 MC SS pulled in briefly but turned around and left. He may
not have seen mine setting near the end ?
We later found out the people judging the cars had NO IDEA WHAT
TO LOOK FOR in means of points for a vehicle......oh well. I had fun
and that's the main thing.

Great pics and I'm glad you had fun. I can't stand a poorly run car shows. I help judge shows for a local promoter. I have been going to shows with my 03 for 7 years now and I have learned quite a bit along the way.

Is there a national standard point system for car show points ?
How much constitutes Non Stock ? Thinking of adding K&N kit,
tinting windows and Flowmasters ?
Yeah, the organizers who are nice people just didn't know what
they were doing. It was their first. The trophies got mislabled and
there was poor attendance from the public.

 

It depends on the show - for judged show most promoters us a 100 point scale. Mods also depends on how strict the promoter is. I was told 3 mods and it can still be in the stock class - hence my 03 has aftermarket exhaust, custom graphics and CAI. Everything else is how it came from the factory. And then there are the shows that are participant judging - I don't do well at those shows for some reason.
