Default A few pics of the new Monte

HERE IS THE 1979 CHEVY MONTE CARLO I JUST ACQUIRED. SHE HAS A BUILT 355 ENGINE, 350 TRANS, 2800 STAHL CONVERTOR, 12 BOLT-POSI TRACK REAREND WITH 342 GEARS, SOUTH SIDE BARS, BM SHIFTER, HOLLEY BLUE FUEL PUMP, 8" CORVETTE RALLEY RIMS, NEW INDIAN SILVER METALLIC SILVER PAINT.

Looks awesome! But the red steering wheel I don't think goes well.

So what are your plans for this ride? Car show cruiser? Take it to the track?

Lookin' good! I have to agree about the steering wheel though...it looks out of place but that's an easy fix.

That steering wheel is for sure the first thing to go! I agree. Gimme time guys, just got it less than 48 hours ago. LOL

I plan to do a little of both with it. The town I live in has a car show once a month from April til October that they block off the streets in town for. ( www.somernitescruise.com if you want to check it out) I plan on taking it there some, as well as my 76 stingray, my 82 cabellero, and my 88 jag.

I used to race my monte back in high school and loved it, so I am sure I will have to run this one some as well. Even if I decide not to race much, I still want to make sure it has more than enough respectable HP to hang out at the cruise. LOL

Oooo you have a Stingray too? Shame my Camaro is already put away/partially taken apart for the winter, otherwise I'd bring it with me to Albany when I go to my unit this weekend.
