Ya I know I am not the only one lately that has been having difficulty with their vehicles. The kicker is the wife just text me about ten minutes ago saying she can smell gas around her monte I don't know what I did in my past life to deserve all the karma, but man I am truly sorry for whatever it was

The Mishap on I-80 was about Mile Marker 317 in Nebraska just east of Grand Island. But I -80 goes all the way across the US.

I hate to talk about bad news but when you have one of these things they show up in 3's after the Tread hit my SUV front, I was backing out of a parking stall in a grocery store parking lot' next to me was a High water clearance pickup truck and I backed into a car traveling up that Isle, then in another town in a parking lot a guy with a pickup truck slammed into the rear of the SUV in a parking stall and went into the store to shop. he was right on my rear Valance when we got back to the vehicle. He then proceeded to tell me that I back into Him. Nice guy? and that was 3.....

Seems like this month a lot of folks, including myself, have had a road mishap. Hopefully everything turns out well.

Talking about things piling on all at once, three years ago I had my 2003 Monte Carlo SS totaled (story behind that here > https://montecarloforum.com/forum/ge...3-monte-36807/) and a week later, coming back from looking at the 2006 I have now, my Dad was rear-ended on the highway in his CTS. $15k in damage to his CTS, which he no longer owns btw. That was a pretty crappy week.

I agree that re-treaded tires should not be legal for sale. My last car, 2005 Mazda RX8 hit a rather large road alligator a few years ago. About a month after I had lowered the car with Eibach springs and Bilstein struts/shocks. Needless to say, I needed a complete front clip, front undertray, and fog light assembly afterwards.

don't worry I actually hit a real alligator with mine a few weeks back did about 1800 worth of damage. including ripping out the radiator and trans and power steering lines. also dented the oil pan. it was a really big gator just glad it just messed up the right fender front bumper lower control arm bent the rim and the other things. when I hit it it made my monte jump like it was on hydrolics. so I know how ruber from those tires and the real gators can do
