so im seeing that doin an engine swap would be cheaper than buyin a super charger or turbo for the monte, i have an 04 ls, if this is true, do you think i can find a supercharged engine in a junk yard, maybe in a grand prix or a monte? the engine is runnin on ebay for about three grand brand new, but since these are brand new cars it would be good but hard to find in a junkyard.

my question is, is an engine swap better and where can i get one, and what would i need, any help is appreciated.

 

go to l67swap.com that has tons of info. but i think it would be cheeper for you to go turbo then swap your motor. it all depends on how much power you want....first figure out what amount of power you want. then let us know and you can start planing.

from what i have seen an engine swap would run 3k-6k
a turbo would be about 2k-4k
