Thumbs up Engine Rebuild

Hopefully in a couple of weeks factory 305 will be throwin down a few more horses to the pavement.I'm eyein an Edelbrock Power Package which alone will guarantee 425 hp and 435 ft/lbs.Along with the preceding,i will also have some Hedman headers and Flowmaster 40 Series American Thunder Mufflers with 2 1/2 full dual exhaust system installed.Obviously the transmission and rearend will be beefed up to handle all the horsepower and torque.
When it's all said and done i'm hoping for 450+ hp.And maybe as long as I can afford the fuel( :-) ) i'll have an E Series Supercharger put und the hood.Finger crossed to make sure everything goes ok!

I'm with Space on this one. You should get yourself a 350 4 bold main. Or even better, get a 350 and stroke it to a 383 and just rip the tires to shreds.

I really do appreciate the input. It's cool to see that people care about how a fellow bowtie fan's vehicle turns out.I would like to say though that the reason i'm sticking with the 305 is not because I dislike the 350 (i couldn't be a chevy fan if that were the case :-)).It's just that here in lubbock,350s are running all over the place and I just wanted something a little different. But as I mentioned any input that I receive will not be overlooked and will be appreciated!

We have some great Engine Builder's/Tech's as Member's
and I hope they read your post & make suggestions.
305 CI 5L is a strong engine, but I think U can get
more bang 4 your $'s with a 350 CI, but
it's your time/$'s, & any mod will
produce Power.
It's your choice 4-Sure
I really want a 4 Gen wtih a Mod'ed 350 from the research
I've done. Check out the one I posted 2day in
Monte Carlo Thread: What do U think of it ?
That's the type of Power I want : ) WoW
Best of Luck on whatever U decide.

Please keep our MCF Family updated.
We love hearing anything about Monte's,
especially when it comes to Looks & POWER
