I kinda liked number 2 but I think number 1 would be sweet too, It'll be cool to see how either one works out!

Yes frank it it! IDK if you can see it but I wrote thanks frank for the pic at the top! It was one of the few that I could find that was a decent shot

We shall see I'm going to do a few more tape mock UPS and see what I think

Squared look goes with the cover but there's ways to incorporate the cars design to the cover despite their variation in flow.. I'd say don't be a afraid to do a couple if the first isn't quite what you want.

I like how #2 (in your original post) better ties the flag theme from the outside of the car. The ribs molded into the plastic don't really lend themselves to that design. But if done right, you could make the ribs disappear visually behind the flag design. But that may require painting the entire cover.

The concept you mocked up in this picture just doesn't tie the idea of the flags on the outside of the car. To me it simply looks like you want to dress up the ribs of the cover in a very predictable and easy pattern that anyone could do in a couple hours.

If you like it better, by all means go for it. But to me, I would see it as taking the easy road. Not trying to be insulting. Just my honest opinion. I think you have the potential, and vision, to do something more spectacular.

I think you should taper to the end of the cover over the V6.. Here's a crude pic..

I like the tapering idea. It flows better with cover. the design in 2 does not work for me. The flags on the car go front to back why have one go left to right? You could just cut the ribs off and use fiberglass to smooth it out right? Then you would be more free with the design.

Can't even tell you how much tape I went through tonight.... I do like this one alot!

Obviously the final would be a lot more precise but I taped off the whole blue part first, layer down the brown and cut them out,

Going to grab some more tape tomarow and posibly try a variation on this one... And one other I was thinking about...

The flags would fade darker towards the intake side of the back I am not sure yet... It is hard becuase I do really want to incorperate the look/ feel of the flags on the outside but instead of running the same way the run side to side not front to back
