i want to paint my engine cover and tie in the pace car flags some how... what do you guys think of these?

i am open to ideas

Black squares would actually be silver and engine cover would be Black

the darker to light would actually be revers it would fade into the black like the flags on the side

I like the second one

Goes more with the flow of the overall design.. First one is too plain I think.

I like #1. And I would keep it silver w/ black squares. Way more original and it will look great against the body. This is really good idea that works with the original cover design. # 2 does not work with the oe design (with the ribs and all) and will likely look more like a home-custom design and less professional...

How about if you used #1 (which I like best) and tailed the checker down and towrads the front and swooped it back like #2?:p... I think then you have a design that fits the OE of the cover and flares back to match the striping on your car...

I'm leaning toward #1 so far may try one other way with tape before commuting to this design
