I have an 03 SS. The owners manual shows me where the power steering fluid resevoir is located but when I look under the hood I have some kind of sensor there that doesnt look like the power steering pic. Cn someone help please??

 

Um, I'm not trying to talk down to you but are you sure you're looking at the engine compartment as needed?

What I mean is you're standing at the front of the car looking at the engine and also consulting the owner's manual. It means the passenger side of the car but you interpet it to mean the driver's side.

Perhaps this is what's taking place?

 

no thats not it. Im looking at the pic the same way as facing the engine. The pic shows the resivoir right under the top engine cover on the left. when I removed the cover there is a place there that has a sensor plugged into it. When I removed the top it smells like gfas and does not have a stick to measure power steering fluid.
