does anyone here have the SS hood?
ORIGINAL: CMC
I'm trying to figure out what your talking about there. Care to clear that up a bit?

Being that there is a big hole in the hood(at least on the functional ones), where does the rain drain at? Does it/can it drain down that hole?
most of the time there is a hole in the bottom of the air box for drainage or the other thing i have seen is they are a open filter and below them is open to allow extra air out so the rain falls threw there.
Well, no, rain doesn't drain into the opening for the ramair, now it can get in there of course from the falling rain, but what does make it in there isn't much. And I do mean not much at all.
Now as far as the plenum setup for the ramair hood, well I couldn't tell ya. But I've never heard of any problems from those that do have it. But the reality of ramair is that the only way we can have true ramair is the removal of the drivers headlight, actually, even then that's not true ramair since the engine is transversally mounted and the throttle body is faceing towards the drivers side. At most we can achieve a ramair effect.
