RE: - Do you `Think ?
I've drove from Bowling Green, OH to Trenton, NJ and back a couple times non-stop. Thats 560 miles and a lonely 9 hours each way. I didn't have the pedal to the metal but usually cruisin at 75-80 mph down I-80/I-76 the whole way. So yea I think it would make it.

Mine took a ride from Philadelphia, PA to Lake George, NY 330 Miles. 80 MPH 4-4.5 hours. In the Summer heat no prob.
I have driven 90 MPH for an hour or moreon I 95. no prob there. A new car should be able to handle that no Prob.

flat out would mean all it can do.. 130-140 mph. I do'nt think going around those turns, that fast, for that long, would hold out. I'm thinking unless you put something besides OEM tires on it, you're going to lose it in the middle of a turn.

I think I could drive 5 hours @ 100 MPH : )
I think ?
Maybethe MCFshould start a factory production Auto Endurance
Race of 500 miles ?
I'm sure we could finda road coursesomewhere ?
I would love to see factory production cars race on a
road course.
Mod Taz, when the weather clears up in Canada, maybe
you could try a 500 mile run, & let us know how you do ?
Thanks everyone for your posts/input.
I find it very interesting.
Would you test your Monte on a Race Course ?
Have you tested your Monte Carlo on your highways ?
I've tested the limits of all cars I've owned : )
Like handling, top end, braking system, burnout's : )
I haven't done Cowboy's tray driv'in : )
Have you ?

As far as just driving, I think I could beat all of you, and thats not just me running my mouth (except for you other truckies out there)
I will stop fro gas before I stop for a break, thats for sure.
You see, my dad drives trucks. I ride with him every summer. He taught me how you get to places.. you do'nt speed, you just hit the road, set you cruse 3-5 mph over the speed limit, and keep on going. When we go on road trips in the car, my dad and mom actualy want to stop WAY more than I do. I remember one time my dad and I left the Ohio/WV line after waking up and breakfast one morning in a truck stop... we left around 8:30 a.m.... and we didn't stop until 3:30 that afternoon for asnack and a drink (no kidding, thats true). I remember when I drove 100% of the way home from Florida in 12 hours... thats with my parents insisting we stop 3 times more than I wanted to (I only wanted to stop for gas and dinner, and we did those at the same time). So, when ever you guys think you can get me in the endurance run, come on
