check with BEenginering. i belive he was the one that made switches up for the other years to do this.
One of these days when i get ritch and famous i will look in to getting one of them as i would really like to do this. not that it matters now but i have had a 50.cal leveled on to me in my car thanks to not being abel to shut the lights off completly when they wanted them off. and we were suposed to be driving threw the gate at teh same time so shuting off the car was not a option at that time.
good old Spet. 11th.

I know on mine there is no way to disabel them by turnign a switch I have tried belive me i think i have done everthing but rewire them .
after hours of looking at the wire diograms i knew how to do it but it was just involved enough that it was not somethign i could do that after noon.

also i really would liek to keep them on the car just want to turn them off when i want to.

mine is an 06 LTZ
Just turn the **** to the left and it turns off the lights.
You can even just turn on the parking lights
Keep in mind once you turn off the key it will go back to the factory setting
DRL is control by the computer.
I am not sure if your GM dealer will turn it off or not.

as far as the dealer programing out the DLR. that is not a option for them i have actually asked the one here to try and get it done. to do it you have to replace the puter.

My 2006 SS won't shut off the DRL with the switch. I want to disable the DRL because it burns up my Sylvania Silver Star Ultra bulbs to fast. They stay on constantly and it drives me crazy. My 96 GMC pickup had a fuse I just pulled to shut them off. I'll look in to it more.

LOL look at you. did what left others were vainly trying to do. Pulled a fuse indeed now that is funny the simplicity of it. Job well done, you get the Gold star for today. Keep it up
Reminds me of a true story I read about where a king or such put an object on say a 20x20 carpet and invited all to try and retrieve the object without walking on the carpet. His noblemen and such tried and tried many methods to no avail. They scoffed when a lowly peasant type asked to try. He simply rolled up the carpet to get the object. The king had what he was looking for a man of common sense and gave him a job as an advisor.
